It's a very good heater, compared my previous fan-blowed heater, this one almost instantly heats up and no noise at all. The heater is actually much taller than those small fan-blowed heaters and has 4 open sides, so the heat could be easily distributed in all the direction (360 degree), but it's not heavy and easily to be lift and move anywhere with the top handle.

I have not ever used an infrared heater, so I can’t tell you if this one is better than another, but what I can tell you is that it sure beats any heater with a blower/fan. The heat is so warm, like sitting in the sunshine, but it doesn’t dry your skin and nose and everything else out like other space heaters seem to do. It was so easy to assemble, my teenager put it together in a snap on her own.

If you have a cold patio, these are great warming things up. Heating is almost immediate and covers a large area. They do put off a reddish glow but to me, my wife or our guests it is not an issue. It puts out more heat than my propane fire/rock table.

For use outdoors, I prefer this stationary model to oscillating versions, which just leave you warm then cold, back and forth. This radiant heat is strong and comfortable. We use ours only outdoor on an open deck, but it keeps you warm if you are close to it. We store it inside when not in use. If you want it for indoors, it seems like it would heat a medium size room, but we haven't tried that.

I’ve seen this mistake before - this is for outdoor use but designed for gazebos or coverings that still have access to fresh air. It’s electric so you could I guess use it in an indoor spas but really think these are better for outdoor use. It’s a nice heater. Seems like it’ll have solid output and strength for a 10x10 area. Mounting looks straight forward too if you plan to do that. Overall should be a great heater.

I needed a portable heater that is safe and affordable. This heater is just that. I checked out propane heaters and concluded that was not a good choice. They are not very portable at all. I want something that I can use on my patio, in my garage where I have a workshop area, and in my basement. I can do that with ease with this heater. I was not comfortable with the thought of having a propane heater in an indoor environment. With electric, that concern goes away. This heater has three levels of heat output and the only time I use the maximum level is on the patio. In smaller indoor areas, I get a comfortable room temperature using the lower settings. With the colder weather coming on, I can now use all areas of my house comfortably year round. This heater is an inexpensive solution to my needs for comfort in otherwise cold areas of my house. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for similar solutions to their heating needs.

I did it in about 10 minutes. It does come with directions but it's pretty self-explanatory. I did try out the heat features. I was very impressed with how fast it heats up! It stands steady on the floor with a large base. It does come with tip-over protection which is a must for safety. I got a cover to protect it when not in use. Can't wait!
